WholeLife Church is composed of people from a variety of backgrounds—diverse in culture, gender, generation, sexuality, occupation, and faith journey. Each person is surrounded by the grace of Christ and knows they are valued, equal, and included in God’s amazing story. So, whether you have attended for 20 years or one year, when you arrive at Camp Kulaqua for retreat, know that you will experience a bit of heaven on earth in the love, acceptance, inclusion, and joy that fills the weekend.
This year’s retreat is all-inclusive, so every person attending is REQUIRED to register as an “Overnight Attendee” (with accommodations) or “Commuter” (without accommodations). This allows the camp to control all safety protocols. The accommodation prices are lower this year, and the $142/person fee includes ALL meals and activities – including the zip line, the water park, and all the extra activities the camp is providing.
(Please note that, due to COVID protocols in place with Camp Kulaqua, this year’s event registration process will be completed using the camp’s registration platform.)

This year’s speaker is Juan Rodriguez. Juan is a 4th generation Seventh-day Adventist, born on the island of Puerto Rico. His great-grandfather was the first Puerto Rican-born SDA pastor on the island. Juan came to Florida when he was three years old. He graduated from Forest Lake Academy where he met his wife, Odalys, and has been married to her for almost 27 years. Juan and Odalys have three sons — a 23 year old studying at UCF, a 20 year old at Southern Adventist University, and a home-schooled 11 year old. Juan has previously served as an Associate Pastor for three years, a Senior Pastor for 11 years, an Associate Conference Youth Director for 10 years, and currently serves as the Florida Conference Youth Director. He has a passion to live well, laugh much, and love often. Juan lives each day as if it was his last and is also a die hard Miami Dolphins football fan.
