Retreat top 10!

2025 Church Retreat TOP 10!

Countdown the 10ish things you need to have a great Church Retreat experience!

10. Start the weekend on your drive by tuning into the 2025 WholeLife Church Retreat Spotify Playlist, curated by our Tami Cinquemani and coming soon! This playlist will entertain you with eclectic selections, including light comedy, This Is WholeLife Podcast episodes and spiritual inspiration.

9. Arriving late on Friday? You can pick up your registration packet in the lobby until the doors are locked (around 10 pm).  If the doors are locked, a list of accommodation assignments will be posted on the Cafeteria doors. Only the Woodland Lodge rooms are keyed. If you are staying in one of the lodges, instructions will be posted for acquiring your key.

8. Are there children in your group? Be sure they bring their bicycle! Please talk with your child(ren) about bicycle etiquette: riding courteously, not leaving bicycles on the walkway, and not blocking doorways are much appreciated.

7. Are you a Board Game Fan?? Bring your favorite board and/or card game(s) to play in the Cafeteria after the Saturday Night Program. Be sure to write your name on your game(s) so you know which one(s) to take home!

6. What should you wear? This is a question we get a LOT. The WholeLife Church Retreat is CASUAL – think shorts, jeans, t-shirts, sneakers – anything comfortable. Check your weather app before you leave, and pack accordingly.

5. If you reserved a horseback ride (Sunday 9:00, 10:15, or 11:30 am), close-toed shoes are mandatory. All minors must have an adult signature on the sign-up form (available at the Registration Table).

4.  Saturday Night Live!  If you know, you know.

3. MEAL TICKETS: All meals for the weekend, including our 4 Rivers Barbecue picnic on Friday evening, require pre-purchased tickets at the time of registration and are no longer available.  If you have not purchased meal tickets in advance, please plan accordingly.

2. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets! You will need them throughout the weekend, beginning with Friday night dinner and the following evening program, which will take place outside the cafeteria on the baseball field.

1. This Is WholeLife is our weekly podcast featuring further discussion on the week’s sermon topic. The podcast will be recorded live on Saturday, featuring our speaker, Dr. Heather Thompson Day. This live taping will occur in the King Chapel from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Finally, there's no better way to experience this fantastic event than to connect and OVERFLOW! This is the best way to meet and connect with your WholeLife Family as we seek God together.
