August 1 — Micah Movement
A Christian ministry that equips churches and individuals to respond to social justice issues, including poverty, human trafficking, immigration, racism, foster care, and substance abuse, guided by Micah 6:8’s call to “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly.”
August 8 — Plated for Purpose
A grassroots organization teaching youth culinary skills through hands on training at the Legacy Café, helping young people build real world kitchen experience and confidence.
August 8 — Nathaniel’s Hope- Buddy Break
Buddy Break is a free respite program from Nathaniel’s Hope hosted through local church partnerships . It serves VIP kids ages 2 to 16 and their siblings K4 through fifth grade, pairing each child with a trained volunteer “Buddy” for about three hours of games, crafts, and activities while parents get a much needed break.
August 15- American Heart Association (Materials only!)
A national nonprofit dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke through research, education, and community health initiatives, funding lifesaving science and promoting healthier lives across the country.

AUGUST 22 — HEBNI NUTRITION CONSULTANTS
Hebni is a Central Florida nonprofit founded in 1995 dedicated to fighting diet related disease through culturally appropriate nutrition education and healthy food access. Their programs include the Fresh Stop Mobile Market, Healthy Soles walking and wellness classes for seniors, and family nutrition workshops that empower our community to prevent and manage conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension.

Single Parents Connection is a community that understands the weight of doing this solo and shows up for you the way you show up for everyone else.
