Interpreting Genesis 1: A 6-Week Deep Dive Class

Reading the Bible is not always simple — especially when we’re engaging an ancient text written thousands of years ago. In this 6-week interactive class, Danny Howell will guide participants through the three major ways Genesis chapter 1 is commonly interpreted, helping us explore what the original authors may have intended and how we can faithfully engage the text today.

This is an open, honest, and thoughtful discussion. You’ll hear perspectives you may agree with — and others that may stretch you. Come ready to listen, ask questions, and grow.

Class Dates: January 24 – February 28 
Length: 6 consecutive weeks
Location: Ken’s Office (space is limited to 20–22 participants)

Commitment Required
This class is designed as a complete journey — not a drop-in experience.
Participants are expected to commit to all six sessions. If an unavoidable absence occurs, Danny will personally meet with you to make up the missed class before attending the next session. The goal is for every participant to receive the full experience — not just half of it.
